I got a 350 and tranny out of a 1993 Chevy Silverado. WIth the TBI and center bolt heads. My question is how hard is this to switch over to a carb and install it in a non electronic truck, like a 85 chevy? Will the tranny work?
Depending on your tranny, if it is a 4L60E then you will require a module that will operate your transmission if you stop using the ECM and use a carb. Check Summit or Jegs, im sure they have them, i remember coming accross them a while back
Well the truck its going in was a diesel. Its a 93 Chevy 3500 Dually. Most of the harness is gone thanks to and idiot who pulled the motor. I just don't want to have t fool with re wiring it for a gas TBI motor. Truck will be a 100% show truck, no A/C or any other goodies. Just a nice polished motor that gets it from point to a to point b. May see 1000 miles ayear
