help installing remote start

I bought a remote start made by dynamic it is the rs130. the problem is the instructions it came with are not that informative. i did do the things i could figure out. i installed the led light, keyless entry porting, and the antenna. It would be alot of help if someone that know what thay are talking about. i dont want to burn my truck down. I am trying to install this on a 98 gmc sierra, 1500, 2 wheel drive, 5.7. I have searched the the internet for everything i could think of. i did find a diagram for the truck, but it just tells the color of the wires. not even the location. if someone could help it would be great. thanks.
