Ok so i have searched and searched and searched... but when it comes down to it i am an idot! So with that being said i need some help..

Here are the specs of my box that i currently have
its a dual downfire box for 2 12's with .75 ft3 Maximum Mounting Depth 7"
I currently have 2 Mtx 5500s in there but i want MORE BASS with an emphasis on SOUND QUALITY. I was looking at MyPorsches thread and looking at the FI Audio subs (either the Q or the SSD). But they look to require a little more airspace then my box has, so i would like to know if either they will work or if not what subs would you recomend that would best work with that box.
The second part of my question is PLEASE GIVE ME AN AMP to go with the subs. I suck at figuring out the ohms...

now for the price.. I am ready to drop money on this but dont want to go overkill.. 600ish the limit..

thank you for the help!:read:

JL amps would be my first choice. For that budget you could get a 1000/1, but a 500/1 would suffice.

For the subs, I don't know of many 12's that take less than 1 cubic ft.

orion p-series comes to mind when it comes to 12" subs not needing alot of airspace, the sound quality wont be phenomenal by any means but its a nice sub. Im running a single 12 and love it

these seem like them would almost fight... .05 off in the airspace right??
Could i just put some polyfil in to make up for that?

1000w rms isnt really helping keep the cost down, you will need to run a big amp to power 2 of them
