can someone with a body lift post up how they mounted there hitch

I just raised the bumper up and used the spacers that are provided in the kit for the hitch. This was only temporary until I got a hidden hitch but I sold the truck before getting that far.

Thanks man, I am thinking I will rework the hitch that was on my 1500hd just not sure how. I just took it off for now

I wouldn't rework any hitch, it is made to certain specs, any modifications to it can and will weaken the hitch, thus causing the ultimate Epic Fail, by the hitch coming apart and the trailer flying through the air landing on a church van full of babies and then the van explodes and babies fly everywhere.
