I saw this and it would look awesome on my 5.3. I was wondering if anyone knew if I could still use this and keep my factory fan? By the looks of it I could trim the end off where it mounts to the throttle body to make it sit a little closer in. Could I just put the MAF on one end? I really want to find a good deal on a set of LT1 fans...

If I get electric fans then I'll have room to just put the MAF onto the Throttle Body. When I took my fan shroud off and looked at the factory intake tube with my TB spacer on the tube is VERY close to the fan, guess I could run it without the TB Spacer...

Yeah I don't think that you could just put the MAF on one end. One possibility is to fake it, and put the MAF on one side and then block off the other side internally so it looks like two but is only one. Best situation would be to put it right before the throttle body tho.

:word: You cannot put the maf on one side....it would only register 1./2 your airflow. You'd need to place it on the tb and then place the air filter assembly on the end of the maf. I don't see it fitting w/ some serious fan and fan shroud mods.
