I got under the truck to check stuff out for a long trip this weekend to a truck show and noticed a good bit of play in the side to side and up and down movement of the driveshaft, maybe 1/8" in either direction, good or bad?

wow 1/8th of an inch is a lot of play.. pinion bearing/race seems worn or crush collar. if its not making noise i wouldnt mess with it IMO

Was this play in the actual bearing itself, or the rubber bushing it is contained in?

between the rubbr and the metal its in, not at the bearing in any way

is it leaking fluid?
