I have a 97 single cab shortbed silverado. Monday i am ordering a 4/6 drop for it. What all will i have to cut to make it ride good? It is spindles and coils. Please help me out here as soon as you can. I have 22s with 265/35/22s. If u have a setup like this or even similar to this feel free to post pics cuz this will cost me a pretty good bit and i dont wanna waste my money....thanks in advance

you shouldnt have to cut anything, if anything you might want a bolt in notch in the rear, but everything is basically a bolt in kit

Well i got a buddy with the same kit and he rubs all the way around. and he has 15s!!

shouldn't be depending on the offset/backspacing of the wheel.

You'll need to cut the bumpstops out back.

And definitely find out the offset of your wheels.

+16 is great on 88-98 trucks. 22x9.5 +16 you can lay body without narrowing the axle.
you shouldnt rub at all.
maybe a little upfront but not much.
you will def want to put the notch that comes with the kit in the truck

My friend ran 20s with 35 series tire on his '98 w/ no rub. His was a 3/5 but 1 inch shouldn't make a difference. Your buddy must have a mud tire if it rubs on 15s

Ya if you feel in the fender wells it has a lip inside. Depending on the backspacing on your wheels and what tires you get you might have to cut or roll them depending on what you want.

Well i will be runnun 22 inch boss 304 with +16 offset. And 265/35/22s. and i dont have stock shackles so how will that work. my belltechs have 2 holes in em so will it lift or lower when flipped?

if your running your shackles on 2" rear drop right now and put the flip in then you will be at 8
if you put the leaf in the lower hole on the shackle then you will be at 7" rear drop.
which will still clear just fine on 22x9.5 +16 265/35/22
