i wanna lower my truck sooo much, BUT there are way to many possiblities in my mind. Its a daily driver, and i wanna keep it that way, i love this truck, i wanna keep it forever, and i wanna drive it everyday. so i dont know how to drop it. a 4/6 would be sweet becuause its the strongest/sturdier, i think. But airbags to me would be more practiacall because they are oviously cooler, and i work constuction, so when driving onto the site i could just raise the bags to have more clearence, and on other things like speed bumps and other obstuctions. so i need u guys to help me out. i also am curious to see which would handle better, bags or a solid drop, both with sway bars. i herd that they did a test on a WRX around a track, one had a full racing suspension that was completely tunable, and another with air bags, and the bagged wrx handled better. i wanna make my truck fast and handle aggressive too, cuase i wanna eventaully do an LS1 and T-56 swap

I think that coilovers would do the Trick for you.

isnt a four link with u cut the bed to mount the axel above the frame? wouldnt that be way to low to clear obsticals?
If you mounted your axle above the frame you could lay on 22's

Do you mean above your leaf springs like on a flip kit for a static drop?

This is a 4-link (4-bar) rear end with coilovers .. you totally take out the leaf springs and all it's bracketry and replace it. In a leaf spring the spring supports your rear as well as holding the rear end in place. Downside, not much articulation. The 4-link just holds the rear end ... without air bags or coilovers the truck would just sit there metal to metal.

My idea for cheap, fully adjustable suspension is very simple, rides like a dream, and requires no cutting, welding, or anything else. All ya need is a bedcover and a whole bunch of sand bags... Want to go lower? add more bags, higher take some out. :D

:imo there really isn't a cheap way to do it. If I were me I would just save up and do exactly what you want the first time and do it right.

dudes, where the fuck did i ever say cost was a problem, i intend on doing it right, i just wanna know what the best way would be to slam it but still beable to raise it enough, or have it high enough to clear obsticles, and which one would give me the best ride quality and handling
