So I bought a hughes tranny pan of ebay for extra cooling capacity. Low and behold I get my stock pan of today with tranny fluid going everywhere and then the new high capacity one doesn't fit. I have a big old crossmember that supports my tranny thats in the way. Any one have any ideas what to do on an HD. How can i make this work or what one can I buy that works. It looks exactly the same as the Mag-Hytech one so I know that won't work. I'm pissed

Oh and when I put the 4 quarts of tranny fluid back in I loaded it in through the dipstick in the engine bay, this is right sin't it. There isn't a filler above the pan?

That's right. Can you take a pic of your trans mount? I got a Hughes deep pan to work on my 4L80E.
