First, I am on a 4/6 drop and am wanting to get 22's. I have decided that I would like to go with the American Racing RT-S wheel.

the 6 x 5.5 is a 22x9.5 size rim with a 6 3/4in backspacing and I believe it has a 30mm+ offset. I was for sure gonna put these on a 265/35/22 tire but am thinking about a 285/35/22??

Now what I need to know is wether or not this is gonna work on my 4/6? Will I have to roll fenders or cut anything out of the fenderwell?

Basically what I wanna know is whats the fattest tire i can run on this?

6x135 will not work. I think that is a Ford bolt pattern.

22x9.5 with 6" of backspacing is really going to be too close on a 4/6 drop. They will be flush with the fenders in the rear so you'd have to roll them and probably flare them as well. I'd look into some of their other wheels offered in the offset for the 07 tahoe.

You should be fine, might have to roll your fenders. I'm not to sure if you could run 285/35/22s up front
