Has anyone bought this particular model off off of ebay and installed it? Anything to watch out for? I plan on installing tonight or tomorrow:

Well, I went ahead and did it! 1" spacer from T&T.

For the most part everything was pretty easy and if I had had all the correct tools probably would have taken less than an hour.

Tips:
1. Have a deep 10mm socket for removing the bottom two nuts.
2. CAREFULLY remove the bolts or they will strip and you will have to channel lock their ass out.
3. The spacer BARELY fits with the stock intake tubing. :crazy:

I would suggest using the search function and seeing what others have said about the TB spacers.

My personal experience has been they are good for only one thing, paper weights.

take my advice.. i would rather see you not waste your money on this..

unless you have an OBS motor... spend the money on some caddy handles instead.

1. Change K&N filter for K&N FIPK unit.
2. Replace heads with Gibson stainless
3. Change gear ratio to 4.56
4. 180 thermostat

Already done:
1. Flowmaster exhaust
2. Throttle body spacer
3. Throttle body coolant bypass
4. K&n air filter
5. Jet Stage II performance chip
6. 6 + 3 lift
7. BFG 35's
8. only running 91oct and mobil1 5/30

I wouldnt knock it but i would say there are other intakes that you should look at, you should get in on the Volant group purchase, you have until August 10 and its only $220 after shipping and stuff you will probably pay a bit more for the FIPK

$250 for less torque, more dirt into your engine, and so on. overpriced crap, imo. they fool you in to thinking that since you're dropping so much cash on it, it must be worth it. 10hp gain, eh? doubt it. i'll save my money.

I actually noticed a nice little jump in throttle response with the installation.. Just in my mind maybe?
