I was at the dealer to have them look at my 04 Silver 4.8 because it has no power under 1500rpm's they said it still is in the break-in and there is no problem with the truck I have a magnaflow muff, and the dealer said that a cold air intake will damage my MAF. what do yall think,

No, a cold air intake doesn't hurt the maf.....

Do you have one on there already or were you just asking them? I know you said you have a muffler but it's a little unclear on the intake.

Only thing I could see is if the filter is overly oiled.

Well how's every thing from 1600rpm up? There's not a lot of power at low RPM anyway...

The newer vortec motors aren't built to have all the low end the old 350s and stuff had...i wouldn't worry about little power down low since these motors are built for top end power. :read:
