I have the 09 SLE so basic lock/unlock and panic button. Wondering if i can use different model year to get a nicer looking fob. I know that it works off the DIC and Immobilizer for certain years but more times than not a buick/gmc/chev uses the same crap for multiple years.
Any thoughts?

Also if i found a key fob that had remote start and other features that I dont have could i still use it?

If you have rpo code AP8 you can buy remote start fob's and have a dealer program them
