I have a 95 2wd truck with 350 and 4l60e. I do not drive the truck often. I noticed about two weeks ago that the truck would not start. Initially i thought that the battery was bad so I exchanged it under warranty. After this the truck would start though slowly and not always on the first try. Now I am finding that the truck will not start again, and the battery is running down. I have kept a battery tender on it but it still won't start even when it it showing 12.9v at the battery. The starter clicks, and makes a high pitched whine, while SLOWLY turning. Not enough to turn the engine over, though. I have not had a starter go out before so I don't know if that's the issue. I'm going to try to jump the truck off this afternoon and see if I can get it going that way, but I definitely need to figure out what the problem is!

I have checked for parasitic draw on the battery as well and only found 2ma of draw with the engine off so I am guessing that is not enough to kill the battery.
