i got a 97 silverado ext. cab and just recently got it lowered on a 4/6 and got 20"s. i went to get the alignment done yesterday and they were able to adjust the toe but they couldnt do the camber cuz they said where the line to adjust the camber goes through the frame or whatever, it wasnt cut when the truck was lowered. by cutting a little notch it would allow the line to be moved thus adjusting the camber. now the guy that lowered my truck and his friend said they never heard of this and that they've done obs silverados before and took them themselves to get the alignment done and never had this problem. so is the shop trying to get my money or are my friends dumbasses?

Maybe they were talking about the lock out keys in the upper control arms? It's were the upper control arm bolts into the frame I had to remove them in order for them to correctly align my truck.
