Thought i'd put together a thread for my truck. I've done some things to it since i bought it and have a pretty big list of stuff i want to get done yet.

I bought the truck last december with 86k miles on it. It had handicap plates on it when i bought it and i bought it from the owners son. His father had passed away and he was selling the truck. I paid 13k for it. I bought it not knowing much about them or the gearing codes. It seem's like i picked a cherry though. Im in love with this truck!

It's stock specs,
-4x4 z71 package
-GT5 4:10 gear's
-5.3 vin b
-4l60e

Since i've owned it i did a lot of maintence work since im sure not much had been done since it's not quite at the 100k mark yet.

Here's a list of the things i've added/replaced.

-Gates serpentine belt, idler and tensioner pulley
-AcDelco Spark plugs
-Replaced rear diff fluid and gasket with Lucas Oil Synthetic 75w-90
-Front diff fluid, lucas oil 80w-90 dino
-Corvette Servo and longer pin
-New updated Intermediate Steering Shaft
-Front & rear bilstein 5100
-Moog inner & outer tie rods
-EBC USR 7372 slotted rotors
-EBC Greenstuff 7000 pads
-18x9 +0 moto metal 962
-33x12.5 toyo open country mt
-cranked stock keys
-Kicker 500w amp
-Sundown audio sd-2 12"
-billet grille insert

List of things i want to do
-Stock gm flares (color matched)
-Tow mirrors (color matched)
-zone 1.5" bl
-window tint
-Long tube's and exhaust work
-airaid intake
-bb tune
-transmission flush and filter
-color match all handles and bumpers
-double din and new speakers
-clear corners and head lights

Here's some pics of when i first got it and what it looks like now.

Nice. Same wheels and tires as me lol
Lol i never realized that till now, my first wheel choice was fuel mavericks but the dealership i went through wasn't a fuel supplier. I wish i could have gotten these 962's in a -12. I wanted the 18x10's but wasn't sure if i wanted -24 offset.

very nice!
Thank you sir :favorites13: I just looked at your build, and man that thing is clean! Hopefully my truck will be as clean as yours someday.

Looks similar to mine. Looks good, man!
Yeah i seen pics of yours in a different thread. It's funny cause i actually wanted the fuel mavericks as well! Identical trucks just different front end's. I think your's sits a bit higher than mine in the front, you just running different keys?

Looking good so far. Where you at in mn?
Hey thanks man, your truck is awesome as well! Im actually in the sioux falls sd area, right next to minnesota! Kinda wish i lived over there though, dakota's have some pretty strict laws.

Truck looks good! Just clear those headlights and get some clear turn signals!
It's been on the list of things to do! I just need some more time to actually do it lol. I love how much cleaner they look all cleared. My s10 had clear corners and i loved it.

RC keys and 3" rear blocks. Fenders measure 39.5" all the way around.
Yeah im sitting at 38 1/2 in the front and 39 in the rear. All i did was crank the stock keys and have bilsten 5100's all the way around. How's your front end feel and what do your angles look like? My zone 1.5bl will be here tomorrow or thursday, i didn't really want to crank the front anymore and suffice my angles and ride.

The ride isn't bad at all, considering the truck was fully cranked when I bought it and the shocks were bad for a while. So when I replaced the keys and shocks, it actually felt better to me. My angles, however, are pretty rough. I'll be getting a 1.5" BL too, after a while.

Well i got my zone 1.5" bl on thursday and worked on it a bit thursday night. Got the cab lifted thursday and didn't have time to lift the bed till saturday. I guess when i lifted the cab i missed the 2 front pucks under the core support, so today i got those lifted and in there and got the holes drilled and brackets cut for the front bumper.

The directions in the kit sucked ass, had me doing way more work than i needed to and just wasted like 3 hours of my time. I need to buy a new parking brake cable as well. The instructions wanted me to disconnect it and i needed to drill the connector out and all that shit, i was frustrated after trying for 30 mins and just cut the dam cable.

I still need to do the rear bumper lift and maybe bring the passenger side front bumper down a hair. Overall though im very happy with it, im still thinking about possibly getting keys and cranking it a little. I don't think i wanna go any bigger then this though. It's perfect

Looks good, man! Makes me wish I could take my steps off.
Yeah mine are sitting in my garage, thinking about selling them on craigslist or something. Im sure somebody will want them! My girlfriend already complains that it's hard to get into  i offered to put the steps back on for her but she told me not too and that they were ugly. I think i found myself a keeper!

Im going to try and get some tint soon, i'll probably just do 35% on the front to match for now. I'd like to go darker but i can't get pulled over as i've been in some legal trouble for a while now lol.
