I didnt do anything of that sort, Im pretty much new to anything mechanical to a vehicle, being this is the only truck i've owned that ive actually worked on my self. Could you give me more insight as to wat all that means?
It means use touchup paint/ marker/ etc to mark the orientation that the driveshaft was "bolted" to the pinion. I would try flipping the driveshaft 180* and reinstall it. Hopefully that will solve your problem, but if not I would tear it back down and pull the ujoint apart and check the ujoint & install
