hey guys i picked up a ground loop isolator for my subs. it obviously has the rca input/outputs. but it also has 2 wires coming out of it. im guessing those are for grounds? can anyone confirm this?

Those are grounds, but why do you feel you need that? Ground loop isolators have 1 big side effect, cutting bandwidth.hey guys i picked up a ground loop isolator for my subs. it obviously has the rca input/outputs. but it also has 2 wires coming out of it. im guessing those are for grounds? can anyone confirm this?

Then either your amp ground is poor, you have bad RCA's, or the ground shield on your RCA outputs of your HU are bad.im getting alot of whining in my subs. and i already ran my rca's away from my power.
