I've had 2 UPD intakes and the only problem I have with them is the fitment.
Its really a pain in the *ss sometimes to get that bastard on. I've also heard of people having problems with them cracking. I have never bought a Volant kit, but they look like good quality and they also have a "ram-air" option (extra $$$) that has an air duct that goes down to your front bumper to catch air. I also had a K&N FIPK and liked it, had a deeper "tone" than the UPD had.

I have the k&n cold air intake made by MAC.

It's chrome, and pretty much the same exact thing as the FIPK(but has a better looking tube, and is just as carb legal).

..... well it works.... Very well...... and as far as I am concerned, it's just about one of the best intakes I have ever installed.

That does look nice, how much did it set you back?

yes, it Is a good heat conductor, but This setup up in the front of the motor near the fan is one of the better setups for cool air.

It set me back $180+ shipping from Texas Motorsports(i believe they have an Ebay store to get them real cheap)
