As simple as changing the oil...imho.
K&N FIPK2 Install ???
Me and a buddy installed one of these on his 03 Z71 ECSB yesterday and it was a PITA. Has anyone else had a hard time installing one of these?

The main problem was that the heat shield wouldn't go into position..
Wasn't too bad of an install, a few of those bolts irritated me but I've done a LOT worse...like the catless uppipe on my WRX for instance 
Is the heat shield supposed to come in the shape of a box? The one we got was almost flat.
The only prob that I had was that rubber connector going to the throttle body it didn't fit on the tube I had to do a little man handling and some trimming.
Nah, that heat shield shouldn't have been that flat! lol
mine was an easy install to me and my dad like 30 mins i think my only prob was i nad to take a round file to the heat sheild to make the mafs fit through the shield
I had a heck of a time getting the rubber moulding on the heatshield ... I had to cut the metal grove at the corners to make it turn
