I'm having trouble figuring out how to open my mirrors up. they are suppose to be manual folding but they seem like they don't want to open up. anyone have the same issue? I haven't bolted them up to the pickup yet. thanks in advance

I'd bet since they're band new, its just stiff. It's a lot easier to fold them when they are bolted on cause you have that extra leverage.

that's what I was thinking. hopefully that's all it is because I couldn't open them off the truck haha thanks!

The ones I installed on my sons truck were the same way. Very stiff so move them slowly.

You need to pry the cap open that's between the two "arms" of the mirrors. There's a cap that just snaps into place. Then you need to use an allen wrench to loosen up that plate you'll see that's causing the mechanism to hit something. Once you open them up and try moving them you'll see the issue.

When I first got mine out of the box I honestly thought I was going to crack the plastic from pulling so hard. Definitely helps to be booted up on the truck for leverage.
