Can anybody tell me the brightest 3157 LED bulb? Bought some from superbrightleds and when I throw it in reverse I couldn't see chit. The light was scattered more than anything. I want to be able to see a mole on a ticks ass when I'm backing up.

The real key to bright reverse lights is to have a Smooth lense over the reverse bucket.
Not thr rippled type.

Bad

Good

If you want to see distance at night, you need a projector bulb, not a flood.
Reverse light buckets were never designed to "throw" light. they are flood.

Projector bulbs will make up for that deficiency and throw the light out where its needed, while spilling enough light just behind the bumper.

Projectors from where? I got confused with superbrightleds reverse lights. It's said the light intensity I got was the most and the projectors were less intense. Not sure if that is because it's focused or not.

Philips (12832X1) White T16 LED Exterior Bulb:

Edit: My bad, I see where you need the 3157 size and Philips doesn't make that LED bulb in that size.

Here's the page my thread that covers when I had a pair of flush-mounted Totron 3x2 Cree LED cubes mounted in place of the pair of Fab Fours logo cutouts on my rear Fab Fours bumper:
