Here are a couple more of mine, with Lund flares. I forgot to mention that I'd like to add-a-leaf or replace the spring packs altogether to get the rear up at least 1". Day to day, it looks OK and fairly level. It goes nose-high when towing any substantial trailer, and that's what I dislike the most.

Here is my stock leveled 05 GMC 1500 with 31 inch tires:

And how it looked after I did a 6.5" BDS suspension lift and 33 inch tires. No rubbing at all even when wheeling it hard, no trimming done. I had 35s on it for a while but it was bad on gas and gutless... It drives better with the 33s.

I'll add. Bad angles, and pics for that matter, but 2000 Z71 stock suspension fully cranked, 3"BL on esky 22's with Atturo trails and 2" spacers front and rear. Rubs at full lock unless I ziptie the wheel well liners (which I do)

I wouldn't plan on running 3" unless you like replacing ball joints. Anything over 2.5 and you will be sitting on the droop stops with no down travel. When I had keys I de-cranked to around 2" and added a 1.5" body lift to make up the difference. It rode and looked better.

Yeah my truck has 250K miles and I'm a high school student so I tend to be a little cheap with money so I'll just ride her till the wheels fall off

the 3" body plus the added meat of the tires helps. i was surprised when it first went on. HUGE difference/experience that only took 6 months to wear off. doesn't ride TOO bad with the keys cranked, but it's nowhere near the comfort level of a newer truck. working on replacing the leafs now cuz they're completely flat with an unloaded bed, so the ass end is likely going to rise a bit

Did you have to extend the steering shaft with that 3" body lift?
