So I came across this duramax on CL and It seems like a pretty good price, low miles, leather, and it looks pretty clean. I've never really been a fan of LLY's though because of the overheating and injector wireing harness problems, but I've read there pretty easy fixes? What do you guys think? Think it's a good deal or should I stay away from LLY's? Oh and isn't it an 04? The title says 05 but by the looks of the grill I thought it was an 04.

That's a pretty good price. That truck is an 04.5, made late in the year. Has the 03/04 grille but is an LLY. Injector wiring harness is easy fix. Most overheating issues involve heavy loads in high temps. LLYs are good trucks. All Duramaxs are good trucks imo. I'd jump on it if it's nice.

Which Is more than likely why it has the 03-04 hood/grille.

they put the 03/04 style hood on early 05's... the last 2 trucks my buddy has owned have been '05 trucks and titled as such, but have the 03/04 style hood.

I have a 05 lly and it's a nice truck. There could be many reasons for a rebuilt title. It could still be a good deal.
