Hello everyone,

What GM truck or option had the rear fuel filler on a dually bed and would fit my 2001 G3500?

I have a 2001 G3500 that I want to buy and install an 8 foot dually truck bed on.

I've looking for and don't know where to fine a truck bed that has the fuel tank filler behind the driver's side rear wheels.

I also plan to install a sleeper box behind the cab.. So the truck bed will start 5 to 6 feet farther back of the cab. Or about 3 feet in front of the center line of the rear axle.

Thank you,
Tony

I think I found a dually bed or box.
It will be an all day, 12-15 hour round trip, to drive there and back, not to mention, checking it out and loading it, if I'm satisfied.

Now I just need to find the time.

My fabricator/welder friend is not able to start installing it until some time after February 1st.

He will be making risers for all the frame to box mounts, leveling the box, due to the bump or hump in the frame above the rear axle.
