ChassisTech, AirBagit, AIM industries all the same company and their product are FAR from superior.
Are you trying to lay out or just a little bit lower? Fabrication skills?

Well depending on the shop, I'm sure they will be able to lead you in the right direction. The problem with tahoes is the torsion bar front suspension, the control arms are mounted lower on the frame to compensate the higher ride height and the draglink steering. With these issues, it's more difficult to bag and maintain good ride. But it most certainly can be done.

to get it to lay you are going to need more than just the kit, you will have to tub the front and rear
:word:... unless you you run tiny tires.

I'm inserting my two cents with this tried and true saying: "you get what you pay for"

If you want to lay frame, 3k is around a good average price for a reputable shop. That's out the door. You say you will have a shop do it, then have them do it. I know that I disliked using customers parts for the reason of saving a couple of bucks. Most of the time, its was inferior parts.

If you run small tires on a 20" rim, you might get by without modding the wheelwells too much. But then that ends up looking silly

this was just the quote I got from 1 local shop and 1 local backyard fabricator was around $3000 but the shop said they wanted to make thier own brackets and said I didnt need a 4 or 6link that thier brackets would work fine . I got the impression they are full of shit and they only had one bagged car there and it had bolt on cylinders . the other guy said get all the parts and $1000 + beer and we can get it done .

When I started to buy parts a couple years ago to bag mine. I had spent over $1,500 and didn't even have half the stuff I needed. Buy all the right things first time around.

Prices sound about right. When I had Shawn at Sick Side Customs. Owner of Plain Jane do a quote to stock floor my Yukon. He told me $3,000. Which was a killer deal at the time.

Should of done it:flame:
