[Canadian Z71 L33]

I had to replace the plastic clip for the door lock rod on the drivers side for the key hole. Now if I use my key to unlock the door it will only lock it, but will not move the rob enough to unlock it. I noticed the arm that connects the lock rod to the keyhole had some play in it. Might this be my issue and if so is there an easy fix?
