this is what it looked like before today...

And after today...

Next is to remove the front suspension and the tranny, then sandblast the whole thing and coat it in Por-15. Fun times, especially on a longbed

No turning back now  .. what are your plans for it? I like the wheels in the first pic :head:
 no kiddin eh?

Im basically just sandblasting and painting the frame, getting the body looking nice, no rot or rust anywhere. then tossing in a 509 with a TH-400 and having some fun with it :head:

I love the rims too, the rears are 15x10s, REAL deep dish

:rocking: I bet that thing gets great gas mileage right now... Ride looks like it might be a little harsh though.

Definately keep us updated on it. It sounds like it's gonna be cool as shit.

Looks like a lot of work ahead of you. Keep us posted.
What size rims are you running in the front and where did you get them?

15x7s with 225/50R15 tires.

They are American Racing rims, the Rallye wheels. Got em thru the garage i used to work for. Got the tires and rims all brand new for just under $600. Thats with two BIG drag radials on the back too (325/50R15s) that went for about $150 a piece.
