hey guys. i have the 11226 magnaflow muffler installed on my 4.8 When i floor it and let off it pops really loud. is this normal? Its a 2.5 si/so
Also got an intake last night..Whooo what a difference. got it from pepboys for $120

Thats kinda weird.

Is everything but the intake and exhaust stock?

an exhaust leak will cause that...u may not hear it but that can cause popping under decel...check all the welds just to be sure...

my truck used to do that with my Hooker Aerochamber, but i assumed it was because i had no catalytic converters. :shrug:

give it a week or two and see if it still does it. when you first put a muffler on sometimes they do that. when i put my magnaflow on my suburban it did that for the first couple days.

guess ill check for leaks . . i dont drive it everyday and ive had it for 2 or 3 weeks. all stock just muffler and intake
