Ok i have a 2000 ex cab long bed and cant find any exhaust systems for it, they either for reg cab long bed or ex cab short bed but my friend works at a fab shop and we can just make the pipes. Ok my truck has the 6.0L v8 and i want it to sound like it has that big ass v8 in their, im thinking flowmaster but im very open minded so does anyone have suggestions on the brand and series?

Try a Borla XR-1 Sportsman oval. I put one on my truck and it is a tad louder than I thought it was gonna be. But it sounds good and has a nasty growl to it, not raspy. I had a Borla cat-back to begin with but it was too quiet. So I took the muffler that came with the cat-back off and replaced it with a Borla XR-1 12" Sportsman oval. Got it from jegs for 100 bucks. 3" in and 3" out, fit right in place of the old muffler! Magnaflow mufflers would have been my second choice.

Thought I would add this. Flows would not be my choice. I had Flow 40's before my Borla setup and they killed my low end.

the 10 series is a race muffler, they dont have it on the site, aint really "legal", but it is, go to a local muffler shop that deals with flowmaster and they will be able to order one.
When I got my Flowmaster 40 original series last week, the guy who did it (Mark Flinner at Redline Exhaust-who i definiely recommend) said the 10 series and 40 original series are almost equally loud. It is just a different tone. With the 40, my truck is street legal. Because you cant buy a dual outlet 10 series, you will have to buy two of the mufflers and (in PA, at least), two cats if you want dual exhaust. It would have been about double what I paid for my dual outlet 40. Honestly, the 40 series on my 5.3 Sierra sounds great- very loud with a great rumble at idle and a roar while on the throttle. It is a real head turner and I am completely satisfied. Personally, I would choose a 40 series before a 10 series. Good luck, I hope this helps!
