Low profile cross member?

I just wonder if anyone has ordered a low profile cross member from KP Components? The reason why I am asking I just ordered one and it just got droped off by UPS yesterday. I opened up the box and there was the cross member, but I notice there was something missing. Am I suppose to have some low reinforcement plates or brackets that suppose to come with this cross member? Any help would be aprecitated.

I thought it was supposed to have two brackets that mount on either side of the frame. Poeple have said you had to send them your old crossmember so they could modify it and sell it to someone else, was that not the case?

i had one ordered through the guys that did my air ride but never got it installed so they sold it and gave me the cash, im taking my truck in on tuesday to get some more work done. so ill ask the guy when im down there.

All I know is that you have to grind off the existing brackets to make it flush with the frame because they hang too low and then you have to weld in new plates or brackets to reinforce the cross member. ituck22s let me know what that guy's says about the cross member. Also I still have stock cross member on my truck, but I have heard that you can send your core back to get some cash back after you have bought the low profile cross member.
