Lowered alignment question???

1471 Views 9 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  Tony Two-Tone
I have lowered my 04 Yukon 2/4 and have had it aligned 2 times. The problem is the left front wheel when it is in specs for the alignment cambers in more than the right. Basically when you go to each side it is noticable that the right front tire sits straight and the left front tire cambers in (this is within spec on the alignment machine). Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did the alignment shop fix the issue? Also I do know about the lean issue the trucks have I just want to fix the camber issue in the front left wheel...

I have been having problems with my allignment as well. BUT I just had my brother in law allign my truck instead of some random dickwad and now it's perfect...he said it took a little while but now it's right.

Maybe the place you are going to is slacking it...

I talked to him about it today and he said that it just takes more time and patience to properly align a lowered vehicle. He said that you still align it within the original specs but that it is just harder to get in there to make the necessary adjustments. He said he had to use a jack on the frame in order to get to the bolts and adjust them, then let it down and check everything. He just said up and down, up and down...PAIN IN THE ASS. Hope this helps.
Well finally had the alignment done correctly. After 2 other shops did the alignment and didn't get it right I went to a shop the dealership I work for uses and they aligned it correctly..
They may just need to adjust the tow bar. Thats all they did on my truck to fix the camber and alignment.
we've been thread digging haven't we :guns:
