stock shocks will work, you wont gain shit, you will loose 1.75" :crazy:

Lowering a Z71
:crazy: How much would I gain if I just took out the Z71 lift blocks? Would I have to get new shocks, also? Probably have to cut down the bump stops, too. Thanks

if you take out the blocks and crank down the torsion bars you get about a 1"/2" drop
Ya it will take it down about 2", no need to cut the bump stops. I went lower and took off the bump stop bracket and mounted the stopper to the frame. I still have the stock shocks too with no problems.
