Hey guys, I'm new to the site so I thought I'd post a thread and get some advice. I have a 97 Sierra sc sb. It has the 5.7 and I'm proud to say she's rockin' 233k and still going. Anyway, I'm looking to static drop it with a 3-5 but so far, I'm only finding 3-4 kits. Where can I find a 3-5 and is there a particular brand I should look for? I'll post before and after photos when it's finished. I look forward to hearing what you guys have to say.

03 RCSS LS. Getting ready to do a 2/4 drop this weekend with spindles, hangers, shackles, shocks and c-notch.

Nice. I guess I will just order a 3-4 and take a leaf spring from the back to get the extra inch. It's insane to me that they don't make it already

Are you doing the reverse hangers? If so, get a flip kit to go w it and you can adjust from 5 to 6" depending on bolt holes used. And use stock shackles. Mcgaughys has great stuff. It's what I used
Don't remove a leaf... It'll feel "off" as you're driving

Yeah, I'll use the reverse hangers. I think I will go the flip kit route that you suggested. That way if I decide to lower it further, all I have to do is order the c notch and the stuff for the front. I run 255/70 15s right now, so rubbing shouldn't be an issue.
