I always drive in 2wd never auto-trac. I want to drop my tahoe alittle and I never use auto-trac just 4wd when need be. What kit can I use for my truck. I was looking at the mcgaughys 2/3 lowering kit. What are your thoughts on this?

I use auto-trac in the winter on my lowered RCSB and haven't encountered any problems and not sure why I would either, You should be fine.

I leave my truck in autotrac almost all the time, just in case. I wouldnt see any problems with lowering your tahoe and having it in autotrac, all it does is puts power to the front if the rear slips. and GMracer has his truck SLAMMED and can still use his 4wd if needed. And McGhaudys is a very good kit, many people run them
