2/4 is lame =P

im looking at getting a 6" flipkit for the rear of my z71....so..6" flip kit..2" lift block becomes a 2" lowering block...~10" total drop in the rear.

as for the front...i guess some loosened bolts or something...

What do you plan to do for the front? You aren't gonna be able to sit even remotely level. GMRACER is running a 5.5/7.5 and he's about as low as you can go in the front.
thats what im still looking for and the reason i havent done anything yet.

ive seen all sorts of crazy things from even drilling hoels in the crossmember and it drops the bar that holds the torsion keys lower and lowers the front a good bit..to even flipping the keys..but that looks a little awry.

still researching.

as of now my front keys are maxxed up and im still sitting with a rake >.< so i think if i loosened em up a good but id get 3-4" drop. im yet to find these 'lowering keys' in the 4x4 thread online.
if you loosen your keys and put spindles, then rock a hanger and shackle combo in the rear along with taking out you block you'll be at a 2/4" (2wd) drop height. Im another 2" from that, but honestly dont recommend it, the rear is the same but I have lowering keys in the front to accomodate, that is the only way to do it, unless you did the LCAs with the keys, but still i had to shorten my driveshaft, along with the fact my front end is loose feeling, not as solid of bumps as I would like it to be, which is one reason Im changin my suspension.... stick with the 2/4 kit, along with removing the blocks and loosening the keys.
i can't just do a 2/4..i want to tuck tire...lol

set my truck apart from the others in the area...

wife is more inclined of me lifting the truck. only time will tell.
then I suggest lifting it, cuz honestly being this low keeping 4wd yes its possible but look at the work, shorten the driveshaft, then you got setup something so the front end feels tighter, maybe limiting straps would help a little bit. But if you want to tuck tire, 2wd:read:
yeah...

my dream truck is a pre 93 mazda laid out anyways... :)

or a 03-06 2500hd quad cab long bed laid out....lol

or maybe this..laid out
