Well i went into McGaughy's shop today and had them look at my truck to see if my tires would clear their 2/4 drop with my 285/50R20's and he said no way so i told him i was thinking of getting the 275/45's and he said it would still rub. Heres a couple pics i took trying to show clearance of the front and back with the 285/50's. I need your guys' inputs and ideas for this one. Also, if there are any tires around the size of 255/45R20's for under 200 id like to know about them.

I'm not a backspacing guy, sorry I don't know shit about that (I feel like an idiot) If you get those tires I don't see you having any problems even if the wheels do stick out. I don't know if Boss only has one backspacing or what, but my friend has those exact same rims in 22" on his 94 Sierra with a 4/8 drop and they're totally fine.

the wheels really dont stick out but the 285 is so wide that it does kinda, i can tell by just lookin at it that the wheel will go inside the fender, i think you are right...if i get 275/45's i should be fine

You should have no problem of running the 275/45/20 because I used to run those on my 2/4. Now I am running 245/40/20 on a 4/6 because the 275/45 rubbed in the front and I couldn't turn left or right because it was hitting the fender lip. But I think my front sits more like of 5 inch drop than a 4 inch.
