Just like the title states. I want to redo my system but I want it to really play low and loud. I have small kids so I need the back seat and I use the bed often so a blow thru is out of the question. I'm not opposed to raising the seat but I would really love to have enough bass that I would have to use the excuse that it's in a small space. I was thinking about 4-8" subs but would prefer to do down firing.

You'd have to do a shallow 8 to do downfiring. 4 SD2 8's would do well AND they don't need a very large box, 0.3 cu. ft. per sub, so you wouldn't have to raise it much which would be for the benefit of clearance to gain output instead of to gain volume.

I have two sa8 v2's going under my seat, forward firing on the passenger side, areo port out the side on the drivers side of the box. Should have it installed sometime this week so we will see how it sounds. I'll get some pictures of it

Neither. Staying under the seat. Lol the big systems kinda got old after a while.

It is Taylors Audio and i know he is in GA. can't really remember specs on box but i think it is 34hz w/ both 10s on driver side with port facing towards back passenger side door. I am very pleased with the box and the mans business, and would def deal with him again

I have two jl audio 10w3s downfire in a ported enclosure on a jl audio 500/1 that slams and gets really low. IM actually selling the enclosure because it wont fit in my 2014 crew cab.

just ordered a ported 35hz sub enclosure from matt with sound off audio. my back seat is raised, so Im hoping that the SA10's sound better in this box compared to the subthump. Ill let you guys know how it sounds once i get it.

that was in an nbs extended cab SS. this is for a nnbs crew cab.

im going to be getting out and designing a ported box for 4 soundqubed HDS208's for under the seat of my ccsbnnbs in the next week or two i will be glad to give you specs and stuff too. its gonna be forward firing though and ported out the passenger side hopefully tuned to 32Hz

yeah i thought the port was a bit on the small side, i also dont think he actually designed it he just kinda rand with it and made it as big as it would go. should have done atleast a "6 though
