Movado watch auction finally up!

Finally, we got the Movado listing to work.

As we posted before, we're auctioning off this watch for Tito's benefit. It was donated by Movado through Patton's Fine Jewelry. All proceeds will go to directly to him.

they said it was trademark infringement to list a REAL Movado watch?!?!?

WTF? anyone have any idea what the hell to do about this?

yeh no shit. i got in touch with someone at ebay and it turns out that another user reported our listing because the description of the watch was too similar to his. ok i described the watch exactly as listed in the Movado manual. wtf? so i cant list that watch again. while matt and i figure out what to do about this, the watch is just sitting around. i guess if someone wants to buy it for what it normally retails at, we can just do that instead since we cant list it on ebay. ill have to run that by matt.

so i talked with another ebay rep and they said to try to list it again removing all indications that it was for charity. and it actually wouldnt list for under $200 this time. after this, i give up.
everyone keep your fingers crossed that it doesnt get the boot.
