Today I noticed that after i shut off the truck that the radio, interior lights, & amp will stay on. no outside lights, or outside electronics are on while shut off. it seems that its just the inside. i unhooked my battery so it wont drain it but i need a fix QUICK!!! gracias!

You know how if you turn the truck of but not open the door the radio will stay on? Sounds like the mechanism that makes it turn off once you open the door is messed up.

Sorry i guess i should have included its a pioneer avh-4100, it shuts off after i turn off truck. but it could be a possibility that its could be keeping it powered because its messed up. Do you know what mechanism it could be? BCM? i had an old thread about how my truck would say unknown driver and i would lose part of my gauges. people said it could be a bcm. maybe its slowly going out?

Im going with what Kyle said....on an OBS it would have been the door pin switch...on NBS+ im not even sure where it is to be honest. But thats what it sounds like also.

found out what the problem is last night, my girlfriend put her purse behind the driver seat next to the amp. well my 12v signal was loose and it moved on top of the of the constant battery source. my 12v signial is powered off a fuse which which runs my radio. why my gauges were on i dont know. i reinstalled the 12v back on the amp and moved the 12v signal to the radio and everything is good.
