my tahoe whines?

like on the highway when i let off the gas and let the truck just slow down without breaking, something whines. once i give it gas again it stops.

this weekend i did front and rear diff oil and transmission.

i also had to do the rear pinion seal, could the pinion nut be torqued off now? i marked it before removing and counted the revolutions.

oh and now the front seal is leaking...lol. :flame:

so now i did the front diff seal and changed out the transfer case fluid. it seems to whine more. i think it has to do with the fact that i removed the pinion nuts to do the seals.
hasn't anyone done there own pinion seals?
