i got a 01 ecsb 5.3 with 35's exh and a k&n fipk. Truck has 3.73 gears. Does anyone know or have any ideas why my gas milage has gone to hell in the past 3 months i am avg 180-200 per tank full. before i was getting 240-275.

shitty gas, weather, etc.

many things determine gas mileage fluctuation.
For example:
My truck...3.73, 305/70/17, exhaust
during the colder months averaging 220
It is now in the 70's, and am averaging 260miles

Cold weather...letting it warm up in the morning makes quite a difference. I mean, you have to do it, but when it's cold/snowy it takes 3-5 minutes to get the ice and stuff melted off. i've heard that the "winter blend" gas makes a difference, too. Takes longer for the truck to get up to operating temps. so you're in open loop longer, etc.

Also, when's the last time the fuel filter was changed or a tune-up done? How many miles on the truck?
