I am looking at buying a new Duramax in the next couple of days and have a question about the factory Navi options. The truck I am looking at says it has "touchscreen navigation w/cd, multimedia navigation". What is the difference in this and the "DVD-based navigation"? Does the multimedia navigation work in the same way as the Pioneer AVIC 900BT as in you can listen to music and the navi program will kick in when a turn, etc is coming up?? Looking for clarification here.

Is it really that bad???

I do have a 900BT I can pull out of my old truck (I told my brother I'd be pulling it out when I sold him the truck). The other truck I'm looking at doesn't have the factory nav. Should I just buy it and pay to have my 900BT pulled out of the old truck and installed into the new one. I guess it'd be better to go that route anyway considering the XM module connected to the 900BT has a lifetime subscription.

install the 900, way better than factory, upgradeable, blue tooth, no DVD based navi, easy to add on amps, etc
