Im a bit stuck on figuring out how to run the factory gas tank, yet still have good triangluation on the links... Doesnt need to be your truck... just looking for pics to study up before i order link bars. Thanks guys

he has a 2link though, wants to do a 4link
search for andrewsylvest on fsc he has a nbs and wishbone with stock tank and gets good sides
Bingo.. tfunit nailed it. I hate my 2 link and am in the process of redoing the rear setup. I was set on doing a kp6link... but ive been talked out of it from a few wise people and ive being tryin to decide what to do. I think a wishbone is my best bet to keep to factory gas tank.. just wanted to see some pictures of how others have done it. thanks guys
that doesnt look like it would be too hard for me and my dad to do to my truck. how would you know where to put the trailing arms and the wishbone etc?
see thats why im gonna go with kp six link. too much damn math involved in it to build your own kit. especially since i suck at math lol.
haha yeah me too.
ahh...i'll get some pics for you of the 4-link. im bagging a truck right now
Thanks guys. i appriciate it. got the bed off... frame cleaned.. old factory bracket hacked off and ground smooth. basically got the frame clean and ready to do some work. i was kinda reluctant to start this project since its already bagged and works fine.... but now that i started im excited to get doin the big work
DROPPEDGMC.... Mount vernon huh.... we should get together and do some cruizin sometime. not too far from me man
Whats wong with the KP 6 Link? Is it price? If so I understand you canmake your own for cheaper. However I have had the KP for 2+ years without a single problem.

This is not a bolt on but this is our "six link" or "trailing arm" set-up

All those look great. The only problem im running into is the factory gas tank. i really, really dont want to switch to a fuel cell.

tonight after work i tacked the axle up using 2 ubolts welded to the frame. did this so i will be able to set my pinion angle perfectly. after the axle was good and secured i took off the old links, shocks, and did some more cleaning!!!
Use a standard wishbone, you can keep the stock tank.

i'd be down:shake:
Its all down to measurements now. i plan on running the wishbone offset to the passanger side just a few inches. Using a superpivot bushing on the single side and two polys on the other.

In all your expert opinions..... Single mount forward to the frame or backward to the axle?? ive heard so many people say different answers. in the long run does it really change that much??
I don't know from experience but from what all I've heard it doesn't really matter. I would say do what your space will allow for
