Has anyone separated the center bar on the grill shell, from the shell itself. It would be a hell of a lot easier to sand if it would come out without breaking.

yeah what i would do is get a dremel with an orange grinding stone and put the tool perpendicular to the black melted pieces of plastic that hold the inserts and bar in from the rear of the grille, then glue it back on
