Ok, im about to order my kit to shave my gate, today if possible, and i need to know which kit you guys are using. I need a flipkit that keeps the tailgate handle flat because i load stuff in my truck that would snap the tailgate handle right off if its sticking up. I know some people say the shave kits for the OBS will work but ive never had anyone confirm that, just looking for some input and some pictures. Thanks guys!

I have the sir michaels kit on my NBS and it sticks up (broke the handle twice)

i have also heard of people using the OBS kit, you would need to purchase the OBS handle and bezel as well

ok well i know the sir micheals kit wont work then, ill avoid that one. Anymore input? id rather not buy an OBS handle and bezel but i can if i have to. Even if I buy an OBS handle and bezel im still going to have to buy a shave kit for my truck to get a filler plate right? I can cut one out but i dont have much time at work this week to do it.

Im having the truck parts painted not this weekend but next so im kind of on a time crunch to get this gate shaved and ready for paint

i have a sir mikes, but instead of a handle i have a small steel cable ran through the old bolt holes with a handle attached that operate the latch mechanism. it tucks under my bedrug and you cant even tell its there.
