Will a stock bumper bolt and line up with my grill? I have been thinking about just buying the bumper instead of getting the layover. Anyone have any info on this? what all parts do I need? also what price range should I expect. I went to a chevy dealership in the town I work in and they gave me some outlandish prices. I will be hitting up another dealership on monday.

I'm sure, but if I shop around....who knows I might get lucky and get a good price. I'm a patient man. Look how long it took me to get wheels. I been lookin for almost 1year off and on, and finally I found a deal I couldn't turn down.

I'd say $1,000 is a good deal. GM list price on the bumper cover alone is $475. Each duct lists for $134 each and then you've got the lower grill which lists at $80. Then you have to get all the brackets. 4 brackets you need list at $62 each, 2 brackets at $23 each, and another 4 brackets that list for $30 something each. You also need the 2 new plastic filler pieces that go between the headlights and the bumper. The are notched to fit the brackets and bumper cover. They list for $29 each. Some say you can do it without all the brackets, but if you want it to fit like the factory one, you need all the brackets. I was able to get all these parts for less than list price but I still have a lot of money into it. Here's a diagram that might be helpful.

Yea, I stopped at another dealership today on my way to discount tire (had one of my wheels replaced) and it seems like prices are all about the same. Guess I might just have to get an aftermarket one. I would rather spend $1,000 on other things.
