Aight I am a few days away from ordering all my shit from KP (klint is the man btw). I have been looking at pics of the 8 piece notch installed and the thing looks sloppy when its done with all the over hang. Does anyone make a prewelded box tubing notch with a precompensated bend for the NBS frame angles?
I already have a bolt in notch so I was just going to do this:
* leave in the bolt on notch for support
* support frame before and after notch
* cut two slits in top of frame
* slide the box tubing notch down into the slits
* weld the shit out of the inside and around the lips
* remove bolt on notch and cut out remaining section
* weld around the cut out portion of the frame.
Seem easier than welding in an 8 piece. This is all provided I can find a pre-fabbed notch with the bend!
