Hi, my sister in law's yukon overheated and now it needs a new engine. She got quoted $1400 for an used engine (installed with 3 month warranty) is that a good deal? 06 yukon xl . unfortunately She doesn't have money for a new motor.

I think its a pretty good deal, the motors have ove 100k miles though.

that's a screaming deal for a shop to do it, most engine jobs we did at my last shop were over $3k, that must be like no mark up on the motor and 12 hours labor
