ive never seen a prefab box for the crewcab, weve always made them, one of they ways weve done it was to make to seperate small boxes and bolt them to the bottom of each side of the seat so they were down firing. They always hit really well like that

i've seen a couple decent ones on ebay but there's none up right now. stealthboxes aren't worth the $$$.

Just give me the word. I've been busy and so has he so we havn't talked since Sunday. From looking at Hulks truck it looks like you'd have room behind the seats if yo don't want it under the seat.

i wouldnt mind it behind the seat, but i like the sound of the downfire better, instead of the muffled sound through the seat. who knows, im not in any BIG hurry to get it done. i might get a screen in my headliner first.:head:

Mine fires up into the seat and it's not really muffled, because the seat material isn't that dense. It'll be really muffled if it's behind the rear seat, because the seat backing is so stiff. That's why I changed from a behind the seat box to an under the seat box.

Found this website, I got a crew cab also, but i don't want a downfire. So, I'm building a custom box for behind the seat for now. Later, I am gonna change out the rear seats for some captains chairs like the Escalades and make a center console for the back seat for some heart stoppin bass. But if you check this website out, it has what you want, 2 10's under the seat for around $200 w/ shipping.

Here's my latest set-up ... 2 Kicker 8L7's in 1.6 cu ft ported @ 37 hz. Getting the box sprayed w/ Line-X only cost me $67.

Here's a previous box that I had for behind the rear seat to house 1 8L7 in 1.1 cu ft ported @ 36 hz:

I have a box behind my seats with two tens. I wanted it behind the seats cuz I have my amps and other stuff on the floor. I didn't want to lose any of the storage space underneath the seats, so I didnt put my subs there.

Got any pics of of your set-up?

HAHA! no, but i'll try to get some pics. It's nowhere near as fancy as urs, but I'm really considering doing it all over myself.

Do you think I might be able to fit any 10 inch W6's under the seat? Or how about an 8 inch W7? Just thought I'd ask, cuz by the looks of it, you know a decent amount of stereo stuff.

BTW, nice floormats. I got the same stuff.
